- Supports recovery of muscle function after high intensity and/or prolonged exercise leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of skeletal muscle glycogen stores 1
If you need to supplement your carbohydrate intake, or if you are training or competing, there is a supplement that can benefit you.
Maltodextrin is an unflavoured polysaccharide made up of glucose units. Because maltodextrin is made up of only glucose molecules, it is a rapidly absorbed form of carbohydrate.
It is recommended for occasional use, mainly after exercise to replenish glycogen stores or during prolonged intense exercise during training.
Maltodextrin is a multi-purpose product that can be individually tailored to fit into anyone's sports supplement repertoire.
Dosage
Mix 1 serving (30g = 3 tablespoons) of the product in a mixing bottle with 250 ml of water or liquid of your choice. On training days, take one serving within 4 hours after intense exercise or during exercise for prolonged training. On the morning of rest days after intense training days, take 1 serving.
